She's a keeper, she's a keeper

Picture this with an Australian accent (keepah, keepah). Let's all hope that Jay is right and that the Village Voice is wrong. Whitney is trying hard to keep us interested and finally wins Jay over. I have been nervous about The City because I have a feeling it is not keeping it exciting enough for the hip MTV crowd. There is still not an aftershow.

Olivia is now playing the role of Whitney's talentless, jealous, assistant. I really like it because she makes a lot of dissapointed/whistful faces. Especially when Whitney was having a face to face talk with DVF herself. She makes herself useful when the socials come out of the woodwork for the big DVF party. She hugs and greets everyone in a quite fake way.

Someone else special comes to the party. A new potential love interest who works in the finance dept. He invites her to lunch in front of the big boss. It was pretty ballsy. Unfortunately he is shy and there aren't any sparks but it will make for an interesting conversation with Jay, my fave Australian. Jay is not impressed but clearly jealous.

Erin is sending mixed message to Duncan from Toronto. Last week she is saying she is in love but when he talks about moving to NY she is a little less in love. She is only 24 and wants to have things to look forward to. I get it keep your man at arms length. It probably keeps things fresh and exciting. She and Whitney have a 2 sentence debrief about her and then she gets back to the hard work of keeping us interested in Whitney...even my interest is starting to wane.

Jay eventually decides to be in "lock down" with Whitney. Will you be my girlfriend? What kind of a dude is he? He is so easily manipulated. One lunch date with the guy from accounting and he is jumping through her hoops.

MTV news...Rumor has it MTV was shooting a new reality show in Pike Place Market this afternoon. It is called "The Phone" and Timberlake is an executive producer. It is some kind of extreme reality game show. A helicopter is involved. Sweet. This information was so exciting that I almost fell down the stairs at work...again. This would have been worse though since it was 8-10 concrete stairs.

  1. why couldn't they film a reality show during the two months i was wandering around seattle with nothing to do? this, quite frankly, is devastating.
